I know..I know, but I don’t just mean that -shakes her head- I mean…I was a bitch and I wasn’t thinking straight for a long time. It can’t be like that again. It’s gotta be better.
She nods and sighed softly, “Can we just go home and lay down. I want you to hold me like you used to.”
“Sure,” Claire held out her hand for her to take. “Let’s go home.”
She took her hand and smiled, “Thank you.” They began to walk home quietly, hand in hand.
